About Us

In 2004, after experiencing many fruitful years as small business owners, we decided it was time to share God's blessings by establishing the Rick and Katie Moore Foundation.  Since its founding, we have supported community organizations, medical research, churches, and numerous other worthwhile charitable causes. We have been able to experience the great pleasures of giving by helping our neighbors, while obeying the Great Command: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22: 37-40
 
In 2016 we began raising funds and operating programs. During 2017 we decided to transition from a private foundation to a public charity. In  June of 2017 the foundation submitted documents to the IRS to change its status and a 60 month pre-determination letter was granted by the IRS to treat the Rick and Katie Moore Foundation as a public charity.
